James Russell, President of Vetlife, will be joining us in person to lead an important discussion on wellbeing and burnout. He will also introduce one of Vetlife’s latest resources: Burnout, Moral Injury, and Compassion Fatigue.

Following the talk, there will be a relaxing pottery painting session—an opportunity to unwind and connect in a supportive, wellbeing-focused social setting.

West Midlands Rep

William Brookes

Will is a small animal vet based in Warwickshire working in primary care practice. Graduating from Nottingham Vet School, he has volunteered with the BVA since 2022, including with the MBEC and is the Young Vet Network representative for the West Midlands. He has a particular interest in surgery and post-operative rehabilitation. Will is also a Vet Sustain Champion, actively involved in developing sustainability in practice and across the profession, including particularly for Vet Students and New Graduates.
