Date: Thursday 12 March
Time: 8:00pm, Zoom

As the public consultation on proposals to reform of the outdated Veterinary Surgeons Act enters the final stages, this is your member exclusive opportunity to hear directly from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) on how the proposed changes could impact you and the wider veterinary professions, as well as clients and their animals.

Join us for a live webinar with Defra’s joint Head of Veterinary Policy Natasha Widdowson, where she’ll briefly outline the Government’s thinking behind the proposals and what happens next, as well as leaving plenty of time to respond live to your questions.

Together, we’ll:

  • Explore the need for reform and the process to make this happen
  • Clarify the key areas of the proposals and what they hope to deliver
  • Outline what reform could mean for the wider profession, from veterinary surgeons and nurses to allied professionals
  • Share how you can be involved and why it’s important that you engage
